Our favourite part of the accommodation was the terrace on the first floor, which had a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The apartment is small, but it was just right for a couple. There is an asphalt and then concrete road leading up to the house, easily accessible. It is also a perfect starting point for exploring the Somló hill on foot.”

The views are spectacular, the interior is tasteful and imaginative, and we loved the salt cellar. We just listened to the crickets chirping and watched the sun go down every night. We slept as well in the comfortable bed as we ever did at home. During the day we went for walks and ate well at the places Kata recommended. We saved on water and electricity so that the comforts of a self-sustaining cottage would not leave us. We had the best holiday ever, literally!”

Really cozy place in the hills of Badacsony. Perfect place for a getaway if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet location. It was easy to get around with bicycles that we rented from a local bike shop. The rooftop terrace gives an amazing view to the surrounding hills. We really enjoyed watching the sunset from this lovely spot and the stargazing afterwards. The host is super friendly and very welcoming.”
